Moët Hennessy

New York, New York

Moët Hennessy (LVMH Group) New York Headquarters trail blazed when choosing to relocate to Manhattan's chic new Meatpacking District. The owner of the former National Biscuit Company building adjacent to the High Line chose to expose the terracotta vaulted structure providing the design team with 14'-0” ceilings and large windows with views to the financial district and waterfront.  The natural light was complimented with small profile fluorescent pendant uplights spaced between the 24'-0” column bay in the open office areas.

The entry sequence starts with a spectacular curvilinear wall designed on the metaphor of the thick-walled glass bottle bottom synonymous with fine champagne and liquors. The wall is illuminated from behind with RGB color changing system that allows client to program the wall for special events or keep it white.  The video conference room incorporates a similar system of lighting within a stretched fabric ceiling thus creating soft lighting overhead with supplemental accentlights throughout.
