10 Arts Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Originally built as the Girard Trust Company over 100 years ago, this former bank building is now home to the Ritz Carlton Philadelphia hotel.  This grand architectural space with iconic marble columns, coffered ceilings and a double stacked rotunda ceiling is transformed with the addition of luxurious fabrics and dramatic lighting.  HLB assisted Engstrom Design Group with the main lobby, lounge and registration for the hotel and also included was the 10 Arts Restaurant, Bar and Private Dining with cuisine by world renowned chef Eric Ripert.  The architectural lighting helped create a sophisticated marriage between the historic existing space and the new modern interior furnishings.   Colorful glass translucent archways enliven the space to make it modern and unique in spirit.

The lighting design for this project has been awarded an IES Illumination Award of Merit.
