HLB New York:  Senior Lighting Designer

As one of the pioneers in the field of architectural lighting design, our award-winning firm, HLB Lighting Design, has been at the forefront of innovative design for more than 40 years.  Our projects consist of a diverse and exciting portfolio of work and we are seriously passionate about what we do.  We are currently seeking creative, "think outside the box," experienced lighting design professionals with a minimum of 5 - 10+ years of experience to join our NY studio.  As a key team member in our growing firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of exciting lighting design projects both domestically and internationally.  On our roster of current project is a Green (LEED Gold) newly constructed banking headquarters tower in Charlotte, NC, several Streetscape revitalization and Masterplan projects, a new Casino/Hotel, a newly constructed luxury hotel and resort in Dubai and the soon-to-be tallest skyscraper in New England, to name just a few.  Additionally, we have recently expanded our firmwide Daylighting/Sustainable Design Studio, and pride ourselves on bringing a Green design focus to all of our projects. 


We are looking for candidates (U.S. Residents only) with strong client management skills, knowledge in sustainable issues/daylighting/controls, and technical abilities in programs such as AGI, InDesign, Photoshop, Ecotect, 3D programs and AutoCAD.  BS/BA/Architectural Lighting degrees preferred.  IALD membership and/or IES experience/membership is a plus.
