Creating a new look for NikeTown with Boora Architects HLB chose to use large luminous surface to enliven the store. The "skylights" are comprised of fluorescent lighting shielded by tensile fabrics. The reflected light on the walls and floors work in combination with metal halide accent lights; dramatically highlight the merchandise and displays. Existing wood ceilings and exposed steel beams allowed for the creation of an industrial "loft" atmosphere for the top floor.
