Westfield San Francisco Centre

When renovating the historic Emporium into Westfield’s San Francisco Centre, the lighting design goal was integrating state-of-the-art lighting for public interiors and façade lighting into the historic building – achieving a timeless, unique and fresh retail experience.  Subtly combining color and white light, distinguishes old from new and creates an evolving, dynamic sense of place from day to night.  The design made use of modern, energy-efficient lamps and fixture technologies for excellent performance, long lamp life and ease of maintainability.   100 years after having survived the 1906 earthquake, a San Francisco retail tradition is reborn and transformed.
