New Balance Flagship

The design team’s vision was to bridge the rich history of the New Balance Brand with its new home in the historic Flatiron District of New York City. HLB Lighting Design developed a plan to utilize lighting in support of this goal while bridging an old manufacturing warehouse with a modern deconstructed twist.  The variety of lamp types was minimized to simplify relamping and ease maintenance. Low voltage, LED, and HID sources produced a quality lit environment while providing energy efficiency and long lamp life. The blend of old and new aesthetic in both the architectural and lighting design, establish an energizing retail environment to inspire even the most
reserved shopper.
