Fifteen meter high sculptural light markers identify the city edge, reinforcing project identity and serve as plaza lighting elements. The LED color changing sources offer flexibility for special events. Lighting is integrated into the architectural superstructures which also serve as the plaza benches, canopies, and tables. A combination of easily maintainable linear fluorescent and metal halide fixtures illuminate the plaza. The building interior lighting serves to create a glowing lantern by using floodlights mounted within the curtainwall framework to provide outdoor/indoor connectivity, and deep overhangs shield the light trespass.
