Mr. Dunn was born in Yardley, Pennsylvania. His interest in the creative field began while studying at the acclaimed architectural engineering program at the University of Colorado in Boulder. While in college his enthusiasm for the field of lighting design and its impact on architecture was fostered through a position at a professional design firm in Newtown, Pennsylvania.  Mr. Dunn has written extensive computer programs that investigate the “behavior of light”.  From this, he has gained a valuable knowledge on how light behaves in a space and how architectural environments can be enhanced.  Mr. Dunn joined Horton Lees Brogden in 1995 where he continues to expand his experience on a breadth of project types including educational facilities, large and small scale site development, sports facilities, convention centers, performance venues, museums, hospitality, transportation, corporate offices, retail spaces, and residences.
