HORTON LEES BROGDEN DESIGN ANNOUNCES NEW ASSOCIATES

HLB is pleased to announce the appointment of 3 new Associates.  

 

Lee Hanel, LC joined the NY office in 2000 and is an Associate in the New York office for several major projects. Her multifaceted background in engineering and architecture has reinforced her approach to create solutions that enhance the   aesthetic of each project while being grounded in well thought through analysis.   Recent projects that Ms. Hanel has worked on are Disney's POP Century Resort, Orlando, FL, Pennsylvania Academy of Music Building, Lancaster, PA, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Orlando, FL and University of Houston Student Wellness Center, Houston, TX. Lee is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council on Qualifications for Lighting Practitioners.   She has also taken the firm wide lead in training for LEED Certification and is active in the New York Chapter of the IES Sustainability Program.

 

Guy Smith, LC, AIA is an Associate who joined the Los Angeles office in 1999.   As an architect, Mr. Smith has been responsible for the design of a wide variety of building types including residential, corporate interior, banking facilities, health care, restaurant, hotel, academic and exterior landscape projects.   Some of his recent projects include Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, NV, Crocker Park, Westlake, OH, Tempe Performing & Visual Arts Center, Tempe, AZ and Santana Row, San Jose, CA.   Mr. Smith is licensed as an architect in the state of California, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council of Qualifications for Lighting Practitioners.   He is also an officer of the Board of Directors, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions.

 

Ann Little is an Associate who joined HLB in 1998 and has since assisted in marketing development and administration. She is lead coordinator of marketing efforts and database systems, office administrator for the Los Angeles office, and participates in the development and implementation of marketing materials firm wide.
