HELLER EHRMAN LLP

Heller Ehrman has an identity associated with working on cutting-edge legal issues while in a collegial work environment. Their new offices in Washington DC did just that by mixing a historic townhouse adjacent to a new expansion building. The conference center is located in the townhouse while the new building houses the rest of the office spaces. Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design worked with the Washington DC office of Studios Architecture on this project.

The challenge for the historic townhouse was to make a functional 5-story conference center with video conferencing while maintaining the traditional residential style. HLB's scope of work covers reception/entry vestibule, lobby and elevator lobbies, circulation corridors, open office spaces, private partner and associate offices, Conference Center, Multipurpose room, ancillary spaces, library, and IT Room.
